Library Cards
How to get a Walled Lake City Library card.
Residents of the City of Walled Lake are eligible for a card granting full borrowing privileges for 3 years. The card may be renewed at the end of each 3-year period if residency is maintained.
Non-residents who have valid library cards from public libraries that are members of The Library Network (TLN) consortium may use those cards at the Walled Lake City Library. Click here for a list of TLN member libraries.
Non-residents whose place of employment or place of business is in the City of Walled Lake are eligible for a card granting full borrowing privileges for 1 year. The card may be renewed at the end of each 1-year period if the place of employment or business continues to be in the City of Walled Lake.
Library cards are free and may be obtained at the Library with proper identification. For full borrowing privileges, residency in the City of Walled Lake must be documented by showing of driver's license or state ID card. If address does not show Walled Lake residency yet we require at least one current document containing your name and address. Examples of acceptable documentation are: automobile registration; voter registration card; utility bill; lease agreement; or bank statement. This needs to be shown along with either driver's license or state ID.
Lost library cards will be replaced for a $2.00 fee.
