About Us
The Walled Lake City Library provides library services to residents of the city of Walled Lake; we also provide services to non-residents with valid library cards from public libraries that are members of The Library Network (TLN), a southeast Michigan library cooperative. We participate in MelCat, a statewide library resource-sharing network.
To get your free library card you will need a current ID (driver's license, state I.D. card, mail showing your name and address, etc.) This will open a world of information, reference materials, books on CD, DVD's, entertainment, and more to you. Come see and borrow our books and materials and our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to help you find whatever you need.
In addition to our regular collection of books, audiobooks, and DVDs, we offer special programs for families and people of all ages, including Computer and Internet classes, our Summer Reading Program, book discussion groups, music programs, and much more. We have 10 computer workstations for public use and free WiFi for those with laptops and mobile devices. We now provide 4 mobile hotspots for patron checkout!
The mission of the Walled Lake City Library is to serve our community by providing individuals and families with a safe and inviting space for reading, learning, imagining, and exploring.
